Heat Resistant Belt

Specialty covers for clinker, sinter, coke and foundry material

Product Overview

Heat destroys conveyor belt covers in two ways: the rubber hardens and cracks, and the adhesion between plies breaks down. A heat resistant belt addresses both, using a cover compound formulated for the actual material temperature and a carcass bonding system that survives it.

The right grade depends on the real temperature profile, not the peak figure on a datasheet. We ask for material temperature at the loading point, belt speed, and whether the load is continuous or intermittent, then recommend the class that will not over-harden in service.

Key Advantages

  • Cover classes T1 to T5 to ISO 4195-2
  • Special compounds for continuous duty up to 220 °C
  • Resists hardening, cracking and cover-to-ply separation
  • EP, NN or steel cord carcass depending on length and tension
  • Also available oil resistant and fire resistant
  • Test certificates issued per batch

Why This Belt Performs

Matched to real temperature

We size the compound to your measured temperature profile, not a catalogue maximum.

Resists cracking

Compounds chosen to stay flexible rather than hardening and crazing.

Bond survives heat

Carcass adhesion system selected so plies do not separate at temperature.

Lab verified

Heat ageing testing run in-house before shipment.

Typical Applications

  • Cement clinker conveyors
  • Sinter and pellet plants
  • Coke oven and by-product handling
  • Foundry sand and castings
  • Boiler ash and slag
  • Chemical and fertilizer dryers
